Finally sent in my helmet for the recall. Started reading the paperwork and just had to take the helmet and the coupon to UPS. They handled the rest.
Today got an email at 12:07PM saying they had not yet recieved my helmet and that the free shipping portion of the deal expired on the 29th. At 12:57PM I recieved an email from Arai containing my UPS tracking number for the helmet being shipped back to me. Hmmm. Is this left hand right hand stuff?

Got my helmet today. Was supposed to be Wednesday but Arai or UPS screwed up the shipping address. Had to call 9PM Wednesday night to have it delivered to a different address. Actually woke up the UPS guy. Wasn't to sure it was going to happen.
Anyway, the recall was for the trim piece on the chin bar. The day I got the recall it flew off somewhere on the rode. They replaced it. In shipping or at Arai it appears someone put a little hole in one of the vent covers. They cleared epoxied it. Fine with me. I only noticed cause it's my helmet and I have had it a long time. They even sent a helmet bag with it. Straightened the visor, wouldn't lock down, and may have reglued the dropdown chin spoiler. Pretty good service by me.
