Brrrrr its cold outside

Well, I'm new to this site.  Just bought myself a new Yamaha Warrior, and realize that even with glove liners, my fingers are still about to fall off when I get to work/home.  If anyone has any tips for heated gloves, it would be great.  I'd prefer not to use ones that I have to make a modified wire harness for (as I'm not sure if it voids my warrantee or not).  Any suggestions would be great.  I don't have much money to throw at it, but if its required, I can usually scrape together something.

 Thanks,

Black Darien Jacket and Tall Wesco Boots

Words and Music, by golly (with apologies to Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller)

He wore a black Darien jacket, and tall Wesco boots,
And a heated Gerbing vest with reflect tape on the back,
He had a BMW, that was polished more than run,
The fool commuted daily, on highway 101.

Well he never shaved his faced, though he always styled his hair,
He had triple mocha latte underneath his fingernails,

Buy Johnson & Johnson or other major brand to get a nice container and
maybe a little useful content. Then double what you spent in order to
get REAL content. Get enough QUANTITY of each thing to last a weekend
in camp or a hard afternoon's ride while hurting.

Add your first-aid kit to your checklist before a ride. Seems obvious,
but even medics on the EMS squad sometimes roll up in their personal cars
and realize that they didn't reload 4x4s, tape, gloves, etc. after the
last call/drill. Also, some meds, like Advil, have an expiration date,
so check that as well.

Arai helmet recall

Finally sent in my helmet for the recall. Started reading the paperwork and just had to take the helmet and the coupon to UPS. They handled the rest.

Today got an email at 12:07PM saying they had not yet recieved my helmet and that the free shipping portion of the deal expired on the 29th. At 12:57PM I recieved an email from Arai containing my UPS tracking number for the helmet being shipped back to me. Hmmm. Is this left hand right hand stuff?

My Helimot Gloves

They sent me a brand new pair. Have only been able to wear them two days so far. Back of the hand padding is bigger. Gauntlet seems thicker. I really like these gloves but the point of failure last time doesn't seem any thicker. It's a sweat point and a stich point. Both reasons for failure. I'll have them at the Gather.

Have the Forums disappeared or is it just me?

GTR 1400 (rumored)

Dude, it's got no ass! Where is the back end of this bike? http://www.motorradonline.de/d/214491/d_mrd_fotoshow_detail?skip=18 The whole thing looks foreshortened to me. No tail rack - and no place for one, without it hanging waaaaaay off the back. This is clearly a sportbike, not a sport-tourer.
