Ingredients:2 lb ground beef
1 lb Jimmy Dean *hot* pork sausage
2 large onions, chopped
2 cloves gralic, chopped
splash or tablespoon Lea & Perrins
about 1/4 c cumin powder
about 1/3 c chili powder
dash of red pepper
4-5 cans whole or chopped tomatoes, Del Monte or store brand will do
4 cans Van Camp's Red New Orleans Style Kidney Beans (the soft, pale red
ones)
2-3 cans store-brand Dark Red kidney beans (the hard ones)
Maybe some water
Preparation:Chop onions and garlic.

Brown meat with onions, garlic, and Worcestershire. Drain. Throw in the rest of the stuff, varying spices as mood suits.

Cook 10-12 hours at a brisk simmer.
Notes:Actually, I also make a fairly straightforward chili which the family usually likes - but it's too boring for this crowd.
