| Ingredients: | 3 parts cornbread
1 part white bread onion, chopped celery, chopped 4 eggs, beaten chicken broth salt/pepper |
||
| Preparation: | you make cornbread (like carl and shasta/rick said -- in cast iron pan) ...
... then you *mix* that broken up cornbread in a large (greased) casserole dish, combined with some white bread (crumbled, ratio is about 3-1, cornbread to white bread), chopped onion, chopped celery, eggs (4, beaten, IIRC), chicken broth, salt and pepper. Bake at 350 for about a half hour. This is a replacement for *stuffing* and it should be moist. |
