Ingredients:2 or 3 cloves garlic
1 small red onion
1 bunch green onions
3 or 4 red potatoes
2 large potatoes
1 c california merlot
6 c water
1 tsp salt
Preparation:Dice and brown the garlic in olive oil to cover the bottom of a large pot. Chop the green onion into small (1/4") pieces; slice the red onion into quartered rings. Brown the onions in the olive oil with the garlic. Add the merlot and saute until everything is no longer crunchy. Peel the potatoes, chop into small chunks, and add to the pot. Add water and bring to boil. Simmer about 45 minutes. Serve with bread.
