Description:Transcribed from grandpa's secret recipe book. For AMUSEMENT ONLY Posted:2009-04-06
Key words:beer, corn Category:Beverages

Ingredients:1 peck fresh corn kernels (8 quarts)
8 gal water
8 qts hops
1 pkt dry yeast
Preparation:Add 5 gallons of water and all corn into large boiler.
Mark water level, then add last 3 gallons water.
Boil until liquid is at original level.
Boil hops in 1/2 gal. water. If dry hops, pre-soak.
Mix liquids, let cool.
Add yeast, let work out.
Notes:Again, posted for amusement only. Beer made from corn might be interesting, but I doubt this was a scientific recipe, and I'm not convinced the correct amount of hops are listed.
Equipment:10 gallon pot.
